Bonnie and Huw's Seagrove Beach, Florida Destination Wedding

When an ex-pat living in England gets engaged to a Welsh fighter pilot in the Royal Air Force, the first question everyone asks (after giving their congratulations, of course) is "where are you getting married?". For Bonnie and Huw, they considered getting married closer to their new home in the U.K. and in Texas where most of Bonnie's family resides before deciding on the Florida panhandle where Bonnie's family used to vacation when she was younger.

Because planning a destination wedding presents a slew of unique challenges in itself, Bonnie had to book a a venue without actually seeing it in person first. But when she did finally see the property in Seagrove Beach, Florida called the Triple Crown and the Lawn on a visit a few months before the wedding, she immediately knew she had picked the perfect venue. Located right on the beach with a sprawling green lawn, perfect for dinner and dancing under the stars, the Triple Crown is an engaged couple's dream. And it turned into Bonnie and Huw's dream as well.

Bistro lights were strung across the entire lawn, twinkling above the rows of tables and dance floor, one of the most critical components for Bonnie, an amateur ballroom dancer. On the tables were floral arrangements assembled by the couple's families and at each place setting was a nod to Huw's RAF involvement, a "Remove Before Flight" tag attached to the place cards. In keeping with the personal details, Bonnie and Huw had personalized coca-cola bottles at their seats and a Miss Piggy and Kermit bride and groom for the dessert table.

After saying their vows on the beach, Bonnie and Huw danced the night away surrounded by family and their closest friends. The pair couldn't have asked for a more perfect day, a more perfect setting, and a more perfectly personal wedding.
